Calendar Templates- Simple Pencil for WHCC
You're looking at VOL25's newest product line- Calendar templates!
After receiving an e-mail from a customer requesting a set of calendar templates, we brainstormed back and forth until we decided on the perfect format.... an 11x14 poster. I adapted the much loved "Simple Pencil theme" for my first set of calendar templates. I hope you adore the simplicity and charcoal style lines this set provides. The calendar portion of each layout has been handwritten, making this set truly unique and just a little whimsical. I also implemented another feature requested by a few different photographers, the option to have the weekday start on Sunday or Monday! :)
ABOUT THE TEMPLATES
The 4 templates included in this set feature a really simple pencil
look, hence the name. Because the set is so simple, they really are ideal for any type of session.
♥ All 4 templates are sized as an 11x14 poster and were created using WHCC's poster template.
♥ Templates are editable in .psd format. These templates are slightly different than others I have offered.
The actual black drawn outline of the photos are on one layer. However
the clipping masks are on separate layers, but the style of the design
is a little more limiting. Each calendar month is on a separate layer, so you can move the individual months around if you'd like. I have a folder including all 12 months beginning on Sunday, and another folder with all 12 months beginning on Monday. You can choose which works best for you. :)
♥ Please be aware that I wanted the lines to have a slightly rougher look, to resemble a thick pencil. If you look at the last photo example you can see that the clipping masks have an almost ragged appearance, and some white shows through from the background layer. This is intentionally done. :)
♥ For these templates the calendars have been handwritten. This unfortunately means the
text is not editable. However each calendar month is on a separate layer, so you can move the individual months around if you'd like. For the text "your website here" I used a free commercial use font and
I've provided the name of the font on the text layer, so you can easily
google the font name and download to your own computer. :)
Q: Are the templates easy to use?
They are! Super simple in fact. Each template includes a little information on how to clip your images to fit within the boxes. Easy as pie.
Q: Can I use these in Photoshop Elements?
You sure can! However, you will need to install an un-grouping action into elements.... so if you any knowledge of installing actions that would be helpful. You can e-mail me after purchase, and I would be glad to send along an un-grouping action for you to use. :)
